Anti-age mask

Apple Anti-age Mask

Ingredients:
5 oz. apples

4 tsp. lemon juice

2 tsp. almond oil

2 tsp. wheat-germ oil or almond oil ( get from pharmacy or Bodyshop)

1/3 oz. egg white

Preparation:

Blend all ingredients and pour into an airtight container.

Note: Use this product once a week. Apply to your face, then sit back and relax for 15 minutes. Remove with water.

DIY facial mask formula

Ever fancied getting baby soft skin? With this easy peasy (and literally lemon squeezy) DIY face mask you can!

Ingredients:

What you’ll need is:
1/2 a cup of lemon juice

one egg white

3 teaspoons of powdered baby formula

Whisk together half a cup of lemon juice and the egg white in a bowl until the mixture has combined well.

Now, add the baby formula and whisk again into a smooth paste. Slap it onto pre-cleansed skin and let it do its work for half an hour. Once the time is up, rinse it off with lots of warm water, and to finish, splash your face with cold water to tighten back up your pores.
So why is lemon good? Well, it’s an astringent (citric acid)and it can help to clear up blackheads and pimples. Egg white has a 'tightening effect',The baby formula contains milk (lactic acid) and will moisturise and whiten skin.

Try it yourself and do feed back to me whether it works for you....

Makeup lesson 4

The ART of blushing.....the most natural way is to 'pinch' your cheeks when you don't have a blusher....but again you can choose the painless way....

Choose a natural pink (healthy pink). Smile and dust the powder onto the apple of cheeks slightly upwards if you are less than 20 yrs old.....cos u dnt want to look 'act cute' after 20s...for older ladies using the same method brush higher upwards yr hairline.

If you have a round face pls brush downwards from hairline to sharpen your face. you choose an orangy tone rather than pink.

Muack Muack...

Who doesn't want to have kissable lips???The secret to it of course not to kiss more but regular exfoliation(scrubing) to your lips.The cheapest way to scrub is by using a warm soft towel to gentle rub off the dead skin follow by applying a bit of honey to your lips as a mask for 5 mins and then wipe off...you can choose to lick off if you want :)

The traditional way to make lipsticks or gloss more longlasting is to apply a lipliner on your lips, choose the colour of your lipliner to your lipstick colour but nowsaday trend is to choose a 'nude' colour lipliner. Trends a now more towards nude or natural colours but nevertheless go ahead with any colour you fancy or to match your dressing on that day.

To achieve a 'kissable lip' effect is to apply a transparent gloss just in the centre of both the upper and lower lips, the triangle part of your lips.

Introduction to powder and foundation

Compact powder: a cake of loose powder
2-way cake: liquid foundation plus loose powder
Loose powder for touch up use or prefernce for a light makeup

There are many kinds of foundation in the market to choose from, the foundation you choose will be the exact colour of your skin when you apply and it 'disappear' in ypur skin means you got the right one. You may choose the one with a sun protecting factor in it so you will have 1 less product to apply on your skin.

For 2 way cake users,especially when you use it the 'wet' way to apply please always dry your sponge properly before ypu put it back into you powdercase....cos you find yourself applying a sponge of 'bacteries' if you don't do so.

What is coloured foundation???

You may find some coloured foundation such as green and purple in the market..the are actually great stuffs which you can use if you want.

GREEN foundation are for skins that is always red cause by sun burns or acne skin. The redness cause by acne is due to inflammation of the acnes and these skins are very sensitive so they need a cosmetic that is light and are able to conceal the redness so a GREEN foundation is recommended in this case. Ofcourse its best not to apply any makep if you have such skin.

PURPLE foundation is simple for ladies to look fair ( a even tone of fairness)not the 'yellowish-white' that alot of asians have.

Concealer

An undereye concealer should be 1 shade lighter thanyour skin tone as this will help to diminish 'PANDA EYES' due to light reflection.Try to apply concealer with ypur 4Th finger and lightly tapped into the skin.Use a brush if you apply the inner corner of yr eyes.

Always try to explore into different brands of cosmetics due to the difference of ingredient quality on the product.Yoy shoule feel great and confident when ypu are wearing makeup and one should not feel heavy as if you are wearing a mask.

Before u should start with any make up on yr face please wash yr face and the most importantly is to apply SUNBLOCK be it u are of any age!!!

It is most important to any makeup or to use expensive skincare products!!!It protects u ofcourse from the sun which is most harmful to skin which causes SKIN CANCER!!!The harmful effects of the sun rays also delay the healing rate of yr skin if u have any scars....and ofcourse causing u freckles and pigmentation....so if u start using a sunblock u can prevent the formation of all these problems in the future.... Especially u like outdoor activities...

U can choose from an SPF of 15, 20, 30( it protect from 2 hrs onwards) ....the sunblock nowsaday are no longer the OILY TEXTURE so u can easily find one which suits yr skin,,,try on yr hand if u dont have a "heavy" feel on yr skin it means its not oily.

So if u cant block the sun with yr bare hands.....Start applying SUNBLOCK!!!

Your makeup pouch

What every lady shd have in their makeup pouch will be POWDER, LIPSTICK, LIPGLOSS,MASCARA, TISSUE PAPER , COTTON BUD, EYELASH CURLER( if u have stubborn eyelashes)....

For my case....lipgloss is always more useful cos ive dry lips....n i always like the "wet look" on the lips...if u have dry flaky lips PLEASE SCRUB GENTLY WITH A FACE TOWEL OR A GENTLE GRAIN SCRUB!!!if not u will look like a vampire that badly need fresh blood!!! :)

For a light touch up u can always press away excess oil on yr face with a tissue then press some loose powder or compact powder onto yr face.

Try to pack things u realli need into yr pouch and not any other things cos if u DROP ALL ITEMS FROM A HEAVILY PACK POUCH U LOOK LIKE SOMEONE ELOPING....
